    What it is
The answer to “is there a rugby club near me?” — a question that today gets answered with a search, a dead Facebook page and a bit of word of mouth. RFC Finder makes it a thirty-second lookup. It’s live now at rfcfinder.com.
    Finding a club
Type a location and set a radius. Clubs in range appear as pins on the map and as a list underneath, both filtered together by Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Youth or Old Boys. Open one and you get the full profile — crest, year founded, division and category, practice ground, practice days and times, website, email and phone.
    Being found
Clubs are seeded by hand so the map is useful from day one. A club can then claim its own profile and keep it current — claims are approved manually, so a listing can’t be hijacked.
    How it’s built
One Expo codebase targeting web, iOS and Android, on Supabase with PostGIS for the radius search and Mapbox for the map and the location autocomplete. Rugby is the launch vertical, but the club-specific parts are isolated on purpose — the same directory re-skins for any other sport or hobby.
    Status
The web app is live and open to anyone. The iOS and Android builds come from the same codebase and are on the way — no date promised until they’re through review.

Two screens do the whole job: find what’s near you, then decide who to contact.

    1. RFC Finder home screen — a location box, category filters, a map of the United States covered in club pins, and a list reading '70 clubs in view'.
01  Search Location in, radius set — pins on the map, the same clubs listed below.
    2. A club profile in RFC Finder — team photo, crest, division and founding year, an about section, and details including practice ground, practice days and times, website, email and phone.
02  The club Who they are, where they train, when they train, and how to reach them.
